January 28, 2019 - 09:13 GMT Chloe Best Morning TV favourite Susanna Reid has been single since 2019 after splitting from her boyfriend Steve Parish… Susanna Reid and her Crystal Palace Football Club owner ex-boyfriend Steve Parish kept their romance under wraps for a while to enjoy their relationship in private. After being spotted in August in 2018, the couple went on to date for nine months but, sadly, in April 2019 the pair were confirmed to have ended their relationship. Shortly after the news broke, a representative for the Good Morning Britain star confirmed the news, before Susanna went on to address the breakup herself on air. After her co-star and so-called TV husband Piers Morgan quizzed her on her new single status, Susanna said: "Yep. Let's not dwell. I'm fine, we're fine, we're very good friends." Not long after the couple called it quits, Susanna revealed that she would "never" marry again. I'll never marry!" While Steve and Susanna were together, the pair were very private about their relationship, but Susanna did reveal that she was happy with Steve. "It’s not a secret, but it's private," she told Daily Mail about her relationship. "But I’m happy. Very happy. I'm having fun." Asked about whether they may ever tie the knot, the mum-of three said: "I've never wanted it. I’ve never fantasised about the big day. It was never my ambition to be married." She added: "I am very, very happy at the moment, but I don't want to be married. No, no, no. I think the focus should be on the relationship." Photo: Warner Bros. Pictures Obviously, not everyone is ready to run back to movie theaters, even if New York cinemas can hypothetically open at 25 percent capacity next month. Those that did run to the theaters, however, apparently ran to see Tom and Jerry , the latest Colin Jost vehicle from Warner Bros. Pictures. According to Variety , if you factor in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Tom and Jerry did more than chase its tail during its opening weekend, earning over $13.7 million at the domestic box office. Only 2,475 theaters are currently open in some capacity, which is 42 percent of the country’s theaters. The movie is reportedly the first film to break $10 million in the past ten months, other than Wonder Woman 1984 , which earned $16.7 million domestic its opening weekend back in December. Of course, “ Tom and Jerry made more money its opening weekend than Tenet ” isn’t the shocking sentence it would be in, say, 2018, given the social-distancing guidelines designed to protect would-be moviegoers from contracting and spreading COVID-19. Still, considering Tom and Jerry is also simultaneously available on HBO Max, it seems like encouraging news for movie theaters that people will still turn out to see a show. His records glide fluidly between four-to-the-floor house beats, hip-hop sample-flipping, and P-Funk style 808 bass lines. He honed the technique as a teenager, and it has since grabbed the attention of some all-star collaborators: Pharrell Williams, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, Anderson .Paak, and Kendrick Lamar. This year, he’s nominated for three Grammys, including Best Dance/Electronica Album for his 2019 sophomore release, Bubba , and Best New Artist. But Kaytranada is hardly new to music ; at 28, he has been building a career in the industry for more than a decade. Although the recognition may be overdue, the thrill of it hasn’t worn off. “I’m Kaytranada, all the way from Montreal, Canada — been making beats since I was young. And now here I am, [one of the] Best New Artists for the Grammys. It’s really crazy and exciting,” he says. On this week’s episode of Switched on Pop, co-host Charlie Harding spoke with Kaytranada about how his DIY approach to production led him to music’s biggest stage. Charlie: Take me to the start. Bonnie Soper and Maggie Sullivan to take on iconic roles The roles of Princess Diana and the Queen have both been cast in the Lifetime movie about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle . New Zealand native Bonnie Soper is set to take on the role of the Prince's late mother Diana, while British actress Maggie Sullivan will play the monarch in the upcoming TV production, which is set to air this spring - ahead of the 18 May royal wedding. The two actresses join Murray Fraser, who will be playing Prince Harry, and Parisa Fitz-Henley, who is taking on the role of former Suits star Meghan. Both are relative newcomers; Murray most recently starred in ITV's Victoria , and also took on the role of PC Jason Denny in The Loch last year. Bonnie Soper will play Princess Diana in the Lifetime movie, while Maggie Sullivan will portray the Queen Parisa, meanwhile, is an American-Jamaican actress best known for her role as Reva Connors in Jessica Jones and Luke Cage .
