This had NOTHING to do with what Will thought of his mother. There is a brief comment at the beginning in which Will and Kat give a comment about Diana. The entire thing was coverage from the media of Diana.

Just another story about Diana – NOT told from Prince William’s viewpoint.
I felt this was as accurate as we have been told about Diana. I do know that she had such a hard time dealing with what Charles was doing to her. She thought so much about her two boys and that they know what ‘real’ life was about. Charles certainly had never even known about the real world. Their story was certainly sad and Diana really did love Charles. Can’t say her feelings were returned. Charles was ‘doing his duty’, I thought.

Enjoyed watching this documentary. It is a testament how Prince William adores and idolizes his Mom.

Extra information on Diana and her sons. Just pleased they had a chance to have a REAL, loving mother, for however short a period of time. Focuses on growing up with a dysfunctional family, and just proves that money and status does not automatically bring happiness. Also, despite her problems, good for Diana NOT to put up with the known historical philandering of the British Royal family. Too bad for Elizabeth II and Charles that he married a modern woman who wouldn’t knuckle under…

Interesting look at her marvelous life
An absolutely beautiful documentary featuring Princess Diana and her influence on Prince William. Of course he would be influenced by her! She was his mother! And him and his brother Harry loved her dearly. This is a more positive reflection on Princess Diana especially since some people paint a disturbing picture of her. She was only human for God’s sake! She did all she could for those boys and she would have been ecstatic to see the new grandchildren.
Very sweet how he see’ s his mother. And how he wishes to keep her memories alive. He understands what she went thru and doesn’t blame. Very sweet .
I agree with the other review that the title is miss leading. This is not Prince William telling the story about his mother.

The title of this film is very misleading. This is not Prince William telling the story about his mother, but other’s telling it. The videos of her and the children are fantastic. Diana was a big role model in my life, even being an American. I know that she has not only influenced Prince William but Prince Harry as well, which really wasn’t focused upon in this film. It was nice, but the title is very deceptive!
The title of this sounds as if Prince William is telling the oft-told tale. This is misleading. It’s mostly a rehash of episodes in Diana’s tragic life, with comments from people about how these things affected her son.

Total misrepresentation. The title implies that this is Prince Williams’ own story about his mother, when instead they just re-hashed a previous interview in which he said absolutely nothing about her. Obviously she influenced her son, though how and to what extent you certainly won’t get from William himself in this film. Instead we’re treated to a lot of footage of him smiling at at cameras, along with a succession of "royal journalists" and former PR handlers who merely speculate as to what that influence or impact might have been.
