Works nicely
Doesnt fit two boxes of shells for sporting clays. Had to stack them. The divider was not too useful either.

Good design and the material in the bag and belt seem good but the stitching on the belt loop started coming apart shortly after I started using it. Sturdy belt, I’m using it on another bag since this one isn’t usable anymore.

Works as described. Holds two boxes of 20ga nicely and web slots for extra chokes.
I absolutely love this bag. I don’t reload my shells so I have no need for a good divider in the main compartment like others do. This bag is heavy duty and easily holds a box of 25 shells. I have no doubts it will hold 50. The strap is secure and a nice feature so you don’t have to remove your belt to thread this on. It also allows you the freedom to move the bag to a comfortable position as needed. I use this primarily for trap shooting. At my club, we have five stations with five rounds per station. I simply dump my box of 25 shells in the main compartment (I removed the inner divider) and place 5 shells in the smaller side compartment. That way, I can just grab from there and focus on my shooting instead of counting. When I’m out of shells, it’s time to move to the next station and I place 5 more in the side compartment. It’s a simple system that works great.
I’ve had this bag for 3 years and it looks good as new. I just bought one for a friend and he’s equally pleased. You can’t beat the quality and price.

I wish the belt were a bit wider and stiffer to help support the weight of shells and other accessories, but overall, this is a well thought out bag for the trap and skeet shooter. It’s a very good deal for the money, and is IMHO better than Allen’s other bags designed for shotgunning.
I have tried several shell pouches and found this to be very good. It’s not leather so the price is right. I reload and wanted a slightlt stiff pouch to hold both new and fried shells. The only downside is the cebter divider is held by velcro and it comes loose when you stuff your hand into the bag and the bottom comes loose when it’s full of unfired shells. I fixed that with a Sail sewing kit by securing the sides and boottom. Now it’s great!
