It is clear from reading this book that the the author is a person of God and was inspired by God to write it. He has carefully researched biblical prophecies and shows how they have been fulfilled. I found this to be very thought provoking and helpful in my understanding of biblical prophecy. In addition he has carefully studied the Gospels with references to the ministry and teachings of Jesus that call us to discipleship and hope, particularly concerning the after life. Robert Thompson has thoroughly researched prophetic messages of the Bible and helps us as laypersons to truly believe that God is who He says He is. He has brought to light for me the relevance of these messages in modern time. With sporadic humor and in-depth investigation, he has written a book which will be especially helpful to the non-believer as well as the truly committed Christian. And such items should prove influential in prompting readers to begin/continue reading the Bible references presented. They should make readers consider that there may be something to Christianity after all. Further, \\”The Heaven That Awaits Us\\” chapter also is thought provoking. After all, it’s a deal no one should pass up: you are guaranteed eternal life in Heaven if you truly believe in Jesus.
