A former tech company CEO in Utah was sentenced to 210 days in jail and given a warning after he was caught having downloaded more than 13,000 images of sexual abuse, rape and beastiality. Doug Saltsman, the 40-year-old former CEO of a defunct cryptocurrency company known as Saltmine, expressed remorse while in a Salt Lake City court as he faced up to 15 years in prison on convictions for three felonies relating to the seizure. But Judge Douglas Hogan during Saltsman’s sentencing Thursday gave him 210 days and 48 months of probation instead.
