KATIE BOULTER won her opening match at the Australian Open – but the Brit celebrated her victory early in embarrassing scenes. The 22-year-old from Leicestershire signed up by KIN Partners, the agents of the former England captain David Beckham, and the Paris-Saint Germain and Brazil superstar Neymar before the tournament. And she marked that new deal by winning 6-0 4-6 7-6 against Ekaterina Makarova, a former semi-finalist here in Melbourne. Boulter, who won the first set in blistering style on court 12, clinched the match 10-6 in the first final-set ten-point Championship tie-break in Grand Slam history.Remarkably she had forgotten the rules and started celebrating at seven points – before realising it was the first player to ten.
